Wildcat Creek Natural Scenic River in Indiana

WILDCAT CREEK RIVER SEGMENTS
North Fork: Kokomo Reservoir Boat Ramp to Reservoir Spillway

Distance: At about 0.5 miles this section takes less than 1 hour to paddle.

River Features: Head south from the boat ramp to the bank at the far (south) end of the dam where you can pull your boat and start the portage around the spillway. Follow the path to the river access below the spillway. Several spots to put-in are available. There is a nice one almost under the CR 400 E bridge, past the spillway rapids.

Hazards: Be aware of motorboats, and be sure not to get too close to the reservoir spillway.

Do not attempt boating on this or any river during high water. Please be safe, respectful and responsible on the river.
