Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park Access Site

Location: Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park is located on the west side of CR 500 E about 1 mile north of SR 22.

Parking: There is paved parking for about 30-40 vehicles. The road near the path to the river is wide enough for vehicles to park on the side of the road to load/unload boats before parking in the parking lot.

Path to Reservoir: There is a moderate-distance carry over grassy ground to the reservoir.

Reservoir Access: There is room to several boats at a time, though the bank is rather weedy.

Wildcat Creek Reservoir Park is a large park that also offers 2 large covered picnic shelters, 2 portable toilets and a playground. The park, maintained by the City of Kokomo Parks & Recreation Department, closes at 11 pm.

Important: The river is constantly changing. Hazards like log jams and tree falls will come and go, so always be ready for them. Riffles will appear and disappear based on water flow levels. Do not attempt boating on this or any river during high water. Please be safe, respectful and responsible on the river.
