Waterworks Park Access Site

Location: Waterworks Park is located on the south side of E. Carter Street in Kokomo, just west of US 31 and west of the bridge over the creek. Creek access is downstream (south) of the Carter Street bridge on the right (north) bank.

Parking: There are three paved parking lots in Waterworks Park. The parking lot directly across from the cemetery offers room for 3-4 vehicles with trailers and several vehicles in the grass. It is also the parking lot closest to the boat ramp. The parking lot by the basketball courts has room for about 10 vehicles, and the third lot has room for about 20 vehicles.

Path to River: There is a concrete boat ramp at the west end of the park, by the parking lot that is across from the cemetery.

River Access: There is room to load 2-3 boats at the end of the concrete boat ramp.

Waterworks Park also has several covered picnic shelters, basketball courts, benches, a playground and trash cans. The park is maintained by the Kokomo Parks & Recreation Dept.
